We offer a comprehensive solution to issues that can arise with composite vessels. Also, Thermographic Imaging may be used to document that a vessel is in good condition.
We inspect composite vessels and structures that have been constructed from carbon, kevlar or fiberglass using both monolithic and sandwich techniques.
Carbon masts from both racing and cruising vessels are inspected. We are often asked by the Manufacturer, repair facility or underwriter to inspect these masts that may have undergone trauma, are in need of repair or to validate they are structurally sound.
Our Clients include racing sail and power vessels, cruising sail and power vessels, Boat Owners, Insurance Underwriters, Marine Surveyors, Boatyards, Boat Builders, Yacht Brokers, and Pre-purchase considerations.
The size of the vessels we have inspected range from 50 meters to vessels under 10 meters.
